Food waste is a big global concern, particularly household food waste which contributes to 53% of total food waste produced.

Getting people to discuss why they think food waste happens in their home and to consider what solutions we could all be doing to reduce our food waste is the best way to tackle this issue.

Volunteers from IFNH and University of Reading will be leading an interactive stand at the Berkshire Show 15th and 16th September. Do you know what the most wasted food item is? What do you think is the best solution to tackle the problem? What are your tips and tricks to not wasting at home? Are just some of the topics we will be covering, we’ll also be giving out some freebies and samples of our banana rescue smoothie.

Come to see IFNH’s stand at the Royal Berkshire Show on the 15th and 16th September 2018, from 8am to 6pm both days at Newbury Showground, Priors Court Road, Hermitage, Thatcham, Berkshire.
