Research

DARE research is about using dynamic data assimilation (DA) to promote a revolution in the skill of computational model predictions by combining them with new sources of observational data, and to ensure the impact of these developments. The research will be pursued in the specific contexts of

• high impact weather, and
• flooding.

The research team has a broad range of expertise, and several project partners contribute expertise, data, software and computing facilities.
