As mentioned previously, the 2020 Conference on Multilingualism (COM2020) will be at Reading from June 23rd – 25th, 2020, hosted by our Centre for Literacy and Multilingualism (CeLM). Given the evolving worldwide situation with COVID-19, we have decided to host COM2020 online. The conference will take place in the form of a Zoom webinar and is now FREE OF CHARGE. However, we ask presenters and attendees to please register using this link. Please note that only registered attendees will receive the link to access the webinar.

The conference will explore all aspects of multilingualism in the fields of linguistics, psychology, neurology, sociology, and educational sciences and will be centred around CeLM’s five research themes: Language and Literacy, Education, Neuroscience, Health and Migration. Our invited speakers are Rowena Kasprowicz (University of Reading), Joao Verissimo (University of Potsdam) and Minna Lehtonen  (University of Oslo), and you can view the full conference programme here.

We look forward to seeing you at virtual COM2020!
