What is this project about?
The research is about the relationship between morphological awareness and reading among students studying in bilingual (Arabic-English) schools in Kuwait aiming to find out whether morphological skills are more related to English or Arabic reading and the influence of morphological skills on reading beyond phonological skills. The research also examines the relationship between morphological awareness and reading among students with reading difficulties who are attending bilingual vs. monolingual schools to establish whether schooling influences reading/linguistic skills.
