The current global migration and refugee crisis creates an urgent need for an in-depth, multidisciplinary approach that will address the challenges of health and education of migrants and refugees, as well as the social challenges they face in these sectors within Europe.
Working with many different NGOs, health and education practitioners, governments, media, and other researchers, we are looking at the issues migrants and refugees face in education, health and even the way they are represented in the media and society.
CeLM’s research within migration focuses on health and education, language learning and the problems of linguistic and cultural barriers in multicultural contexts.
