Guide Book and Educational Resources
As part of the AHRC Follow-on project, ‘Glastonbury Abbey: archaeology, legend and public engagement’, a full-colour guide book was created that draws directly on results from the Glastonbury Abbey Archaeological Archive Project. It includes new phased plans of the abbey and a site map, illustrated throughout and published in English and German.

Educational resources for schools were created by Rhi Smith as part of the AHRC Follow-on project. They consist of pre-visit lesson plans, on-site and post-visit activities, and teachers’ notes that cover themes in Key Stage 2 (Saxons), Key Stage 3 (Reformation) and GCSE (OCR History Around Us). Family activity cards were also created aimed at children under five years old.
